ANTONIADES WINERY

This winery is located in Mandria/Μανδριά (fewer than 100 inhabitants), which is one of the Krasochoria's "wine" villages. The family of Marios Antoniades (who speaks French) has been producing wine on the Afames hills (1,000 m above sea level) since the ^18th century. With around 100,000 bottles a year, production comes from 5 ha of vines and locally purchased grapes: white and sparkling xinisteri, red cabernet sauvignon, mavro and maratheftiko, sweet red commandaria and zivania (brandy).
