PSILO DENDRO

The site of the "great tree" (psilo dendro) has always been very popular with tourists walking from Mount Olympus to Platres. Since the 1980s, it has been a trout farm and a coffee shop. The huge terrace with its hundreds of plastic chairs has no other charm than the surrounding nature. Trout, just taken from the basins, and good skewers are served. On the way back from the walk to the Kalidonia waterfalls, it is a well-deserved stopover, if only for a drink.
