At the foot of the Meygal massif, the village of Queyrières surprises! As if the nature had regained its rights, basaltic Butte (remnant of a former volcano), which was liberated from the castle which would wreck it once, can finally dominate the village in peace and tranquillity and settle majestically above its inhabitants. You will also see sublime bread kilns, synonymous with the past. Queyrières is also the starting point for several hiking or skiing trips. A few kilometres away, in the village of Monedeyres, there is a church built at the end of the th century by its inhabitants and has never been consecrated.
