Oldest hotel in Carmel with good value for money and slightly old-fashioned rooms with a view
It's Carmel's oldest hotel, having opened in 1889! Indeed, a rare and historic place in California. As you enter, the flashy red and black décor is impressive and chic. Although the rooms are decorated in an old-fashioned style, we love the charm and atmosphere of a bygone era. The first categories are quite small. Some rooms have ocean views. Good value for money in the city, with the added bonus of a return to the past. Breakfast included during the week and on-site catering available.
