A historic city hotel, this bed & breakfast offers rooms, most of which feature bubble baths.
Built in 1869, this is Sausalito's oldest hotel. Housed in a Victorian house in a quiet, tree-lined residential neighborhood, it has now been converted into a Bed & Breakfast. It's a charming address that has retained its bohemian and artistic charm, ideally located in the center of Sausalito, a stone's throw from restaurants, art galleries and the ferries to San Francisco. Each room is individually decorated, and most feature bubble baths. Surprisingly, prices remain reasonable, while the entire complex has been renovated.

Wonderful stay at this little hotel by the beach. Definitely recommend! There needs to be some improvement, but it's an old building as well, so it still maintained the old charms.

My wife and I stayed in the "Lilac Room" at the Gables Inn for two nights last week, and we really enjoyed our time there. The room was very comfortable and had a nice view of the bay, San Francisco, Alcatraz Island and the SF-Oakland Bay Bridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on restaurants, things to see, history of the inn, etc. A very short walk to the downtown and waterfront, and parking was quite convenient. If the small lot at the lobby of the inn happened to be full, there were several alternatives for parking close by which also honored the inn's parking pass. The next time we're in the area, we'll definitely plan on staying there again!
