The concept is amazing: you pay for the bike rental and the money is given back in the form of credits to be spent in the Sports Basement store located on Mason Street. Then you have to ride the hills of San Francisco and believe our experience, you will lose a few liters of sweat. Check the address before you go there, the place had not yet reopened in April 2022 after the Covid pandemic. So be careful, the good plan is not guaranteed.

C'était une belle expérience cette location de vélo électrique à Free Bike rentals qui se trouvait juste en face de notre hôtel, le "Pier 2620 hotel Fisherman's wharf". Nous avons longé la baie et traversé le golden gate sans difficulté pour les quelques côtes à gravir. De plus pour le prix des deux locations, environ 138$ ttc , nous nous sommes arrêtés dans à Sports basement un magasin de sport qui se trouvait sur notre route et avons dépensés ce crédit en habits de sport et tee shirts pour nos petits enfants.
