It is a grand celebration hosted by the Filipino community every year since 2003. Held on a Saturday in December before Christmas, it consists of a parade of lanterns that starts from the Bayanihan community center in Mission, and ends with a celebration with shows, music and games at the Yerba Buena gardens. An initiative of the Kularts Association, which advocates for the preservation and promotion of Filipino arts, both tribal and contemporary.
