The traditional San Francisco Beer Week celebrates the region's craft beers. The program: music, beer and cheese tastings, gourmet meals around 300 events held in the Bay Area, Sacramento and Monterey. It's a nine-day marathon that starts at Pier 35 with more than 100 breweries from Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma counties participating. To attend the highly anticipated opening gala, advance reservations are required.
