Inaugurated in 1968, Japan Center marks the official reintegration of the Japanese community in San Francisco after the tragedy of the Second World War and the thousands of internments that followed. And indeed, inside this concrete complex is Japan! There are kimono and porcelain stores, beautiful fabrics, a huge bookstore with a whole floor of manga, the central office of the famous Ikebana Ikenobo flower bouquet school, a video game store and sushi and ramen restaurants.

Dépaysement pendant quelques instants. Deux ou trois reconstitutions de sites japonais. Pour le reste, magasins et restaurants avec orientation japonaise. Bien choisir le resto car beaucoup de peu de qualité!
