La traversée depuis Bluff pour Stewart Island dure environ 1h. Houle, beaucoup de houle, une des traversée les plus violentes au monde. Prevoir médicaments contre le mal de mer si malade en bateau. Ferry fermé car les vagues se fracassent sur le bateau. Une vraie expérience.
