Bully Hayes is a very good restaurant in Akaroa, with an excellent reputation for successful New Zealand cuisine using fresh produce: 2019 Beef and Lamb Excellence Awards. Soups, pastas, salads, fish, seafood and meats take center stage, and there are a few simpler lunch dishes, such as burgers and sandwiches. In addition to good food, the restaurant offers a selection of New Zealand's best wines and craft beers including Monteith's and Tuatara. A pleasant place with a panoramic view of the harbor.
