GARDENS MAGIC FESTIVAL

Free concerts in the Wellington Botanical Gardens every evening from Tuesday to Sunday, followed by a lighting of the gardens. Mondays are kept free to reschedule concerts that would be cancelled due to inclement weather. On the music side, the style changes every night; on the light side, the installation and the wonder remain the same. Wellingtonians love to go there at the end of the day, before the concerts start, to have a picnic. See wellington.govt.nz/events for the program.
