NOMADS CAPITAL HOSTEL

The Nomads youth hostel chain has one of its best establishments in New Zealand here. Both conveniently located and pleasant, this backpacker is 5 minutes from the waterfront and 2 minutes from Cuba Street, the city's bohemian thoroughfare. You can choose between dormitories and private rooms, and there's also an office to help you organize your travels. The establishment has its own bar and organizes various events, such as the inevitable beer pong competitions. Disadvantage: this can make the place a bit noisy.
