This pub was the second establishment in New Zealand to be licensed and is the oldest tavern in the country still operating in its original premises! The square room has retained some of its old features and displays many period photos. The atmosphere is quite classy without overdoing it and attracts the local employees. The food is more refined than that of a classic bar but still draws its inspiration from British and New Zealand cuisine. There is a nice wine and beer list.

Très joli pub ancien historique si on regarde les photos au mur ,la nourriture est très bonne,rapport qualité prix bon avec un service agréable dans un quartier calme ou on peut se garer facilement.
