HASTINGS CITY ART GALLERY

Te Whare Toi o Heretaunga, the Hastings House of the Arts(whare: house, building; toi: art; Heretaunga: Maori name for Hastings) was created in the 1980s to develop and promote contemporary arts in Hawke's Bay. New Zealand and international artists are featured in temporary exhibitions. The gallery also organizes meetings with artists and introductory art workshops for children.
