This well-established Taupo address is central and very popular with the locals. There are plenty of "shared plates" on the menu, small dishes intended to be shared by diners as starters or even as a meal if you're not starving. The more substantial main courses are mainly meat or fish, with a vegetarian option. The menu is seasonal, and changes regularly to ensure that customers are served dishes based on fresh, seasonal produce! The dining room is wood-panelled and contemporary, with a bistro feel.

A restaurant that does not look much but offers a menu of a very good quality from the entrance to the dessert. Try its cheeseboard surprising by its New Zealand touch but delicious.
