RAS TAFARI HOUSE - ABDULLAH SHERIF MUSEUM

In the same street as the Maison Rimbaud, the former residence of Ras Tafari Haïlé Sélassié - Emperor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974 - is magnificent and remarkably restored, also built in Indian style. It now houses the Sherif Museum, which boasts an interesting private collection of weapons, coins, jewelry, traditional dress and more. An important visit to Harar, as it is one of the city's only museums with an interesting private collection.
