Travel Guide Sodéré

27 km from Nazreth on the road to Déra, the hot springs of Sodéré have given rise to a leisure complex with swimming pool and hotel, very popular at weekends. Admission costs 100 birr per person. The atmosphere is very family-friendly and quite crowded, as everything is new and clean, the restaurant is good, not to mention that the swimming pool is a rarity here and affordable, with warm water that makes you want to swim. Perhaps more interesting for tourists: it's possible to take a walk around the hot springs, towards the banks of the Awash River, to observe crocodiles and, sometimes, even hippopotamuses.
