Located on the western loop between Wukro and Sinkata, this small town of 5,000 inhabitants is an ideal base for visiting the churches of the Guéralta. Local history remains marked by one of the bloodiest events of the civil war. Considering the region as one of the dens of the Tiger rebellion, the Derg aviation did not hesitate to bombard the market in June 1988, killing more than 2,500 people. The market is held here on Wednesdays and Saturdays, favorable days to find transportation from Wukro and Sinkata, but unfavorable for those who hope to find priests holding the key, near churches.
