We come here above all for the old-fashioned charm of the Inter Luxury Hotel and its special atmosphere, reminiscent of the Addis Ababa of the turn of the last century: the restaurant of the city's oldest hotel serves Ethiopian dishes, in particular a vegan and vegetarian buffet at lunchtime, which is a big hit because it's so affordable (but also very basic). We'd advise you to come here for a coffee or tea rather than a meal, especially if you're visiting the center, where there are few places to take a break.

La cuisine est correcte mais le prix dépasse la qualité de l'assiette. Le cadre un peu vieillot permet néanmoins un petit voyage dans le temps.

Incontournable
Incontournable pour une découverte rapide et peu onéreuse des classiques de la cuisine amhara. Les plats sont savoureux et on y trouve grosso modo tout ce qui se fait en cuisine maigre amhara. Charme désuet dans un très beau cadre, en jardin-terrasse ou en intérieur dans le plus vieil hôtel du pays, bâtisse de bois construite à la demande de l'impératrice Taitu au tournant du XIXe siècle

J'aime bien l'ambiance un peu désuète de ce restaurant. Comme le dit le Petit Futé, le buffet végétarien est un délice. Copieux et varié, il permet de se faire une première idée de la nourriture éthiopienne quand on arrive à Addis. Je recommande le restaurant.
