In the midst of lush Mediterranean vegetation, aisles blend into a maze of hedges and bandes, spread over 3 hectares. Some deviant constructions are projecting us into Lewis Carroll's strange universe. They are the work of English Lady Trevelyan, ornithologist, who would would architect at his lost hours, and former owner of the garden. The advantage of this park is that it has remained a very lively meeting place. It is one of the privileged appointments of aboriginal people.

A ne pas manquer
Si le Théâtre antique est un incontournable, ce jardin ne l'est pas moins, qui raconte une autre histoire, celle de la redécouverte de Taormine par les touristes étrangers et leur apport singulier au patrimoine. Les constructions - mi facteur cheval - mi rêves orientaux - qui parsèment le jardin ont un charme fou et racontent l'histoire de cette Lady qui a tant fait pour Syracuse. De très belles vues aussi.

Un endroit sympa pour se poser situé pas très loin du théâtre antique, et qui offre un jolie cadre en hauteur sur la mer.

Un coin à l'ombre pour faire une pause dans la ville de Taormina. Site gratuit où il y avait peu de monde en plein été. Nous avons été un peu déçu car l'endroit n'est pas très grand et hélas la vue sur la baie était complètement fermée quand nous y sommes allés.

totalement gratuit (contrairement à l'amphithéatre) et vue splendide sur toute la baie. Une belle végétation, et un endroit au calme et ombragé pour déguster une glace en toute tranquilité

Si vous visitez la Sicile, un arrêt à Taormina s'impose. Un petit village fort sympathique avec un beau panorama où il fait bon flâner.
