West of Favignana and Levanzo, 15 km offshore, it is the furthest island from the coast. It is a regional marine reserve. It is mountainous (it culminates at 686 m of altitude at the mount Falcone). Its waters are full of fish and along its coasts there are superb caves that can be reached by boat. Those of Cammello, Bombarda and Presepe are interesting for their limestone concretions.
