This charming little wine village is located on the heights of Rosheim. Take a break in the vineyard from where you have a panoramic view of the plain. Back in the village, stop at the church dedicated to the Virgin, remarkable for its beautiful sculpted portal and its stained glass windows made by the same craftsmen as those of the cathedral in Strasbourg. Its bell tower and gothic choir are classified as historical monuments. Rosenwiller is also home to the oldest Jewish cemetery in Alsace. Located on the edge of the forest, it covers 4 hectares and has some 6,000 graves, the oldest preserved dating from 1657.
