It was the location of the famous film Fresa y Chocolate, directed in 1993 by the Cuban director Gutierrez Alea, and since 1996 it has been one of the best paladaresin the city, located on the third floor of this beautiful, old palace with a slightly surreal atmosphere. Don't miss the many photos of celebrities who have dined there: Mick Jagger, Madonna and Sting... On the plate, nuevo cuban at : a traditional Cuban cuisine"exoticized" by a touch of new French, Spanish, Mexican cuisine... Unique !

You will install in the room, which gives on the still very lively Plaza del Cristo, or in the patio. Typical Cuban dishes (try chicken salad, a treat!), accompanied by a good beer (Crystal or Bucanero). Digestion also facilitated after the absorption of the excellent mojito (2 CUC), much cheaper than the Bodeguita del Medio. Music groups frequently occur.

Antonio, a very friendly owner, multiplies passions. A football fan, including Atletic Bilbao, he also collects tickets from all over the world, including those issued prior to the Cuban revolution. The staff were friendly and helpful. Attention: Don't confuse this restaurant with the same name located at the corner of Calle Empedrado and Calle Mercaderes, Calle Ignacio, because it is much less good!

Welcome to Factoria Plaza Vieja! A particularly nice terrace and interior for this elegant brasserie with its yellow façade and beautiful Spanish arches, overlooking Plaza Vieja. Choose between fast food at low prices - good tapas and hearty burgers - or more solid and well-cooked dishes, especially grills. Beer lovers, you'll be in heaven, because they are home-made! The mere sight of the tanks is enough to convince you.
