Be careful not to hang out too late on the streets on October 31. Zombies, monsters and witches mingle with New Yorkers after dark. Completely crazy, the giant Halloween parade in Greenwich Village is one more proof of the inventiveness of the Americans. From Wall Street traders to Williamsburg hipsters, the whole of New York dresses up, sometimes in the morning to go to work. To party, stroll through the residential neighbourhoods of Manhattan and Brooklyn where countless dance parties are organised in the homes of local residents.
