New York's best bookstore has thousands of new and used books and beautiful souvenirs to take home.

An institution and a hell of a mess: two million titles and fifteen kilometres of shelves. It's hard not to find something to read in this megastore of the second-hand book full of curious, snoopers and enthusiasts. Lovers of Marvel and DC characters will get lost in the Comics section. A lot of books in French, too. On the upper floor, three leather-covered rooms house 20th century works, rare or out of print editions, or limited editions whose prices have nothing to do with those on the ground floor.

J'adore cette librairie. Vraiment un super endroit si vous voulez faire votre bibliothèque et vous acheter qq livres en langue anglais.

Librairie de livres neufs, de copies soumises aux critiques littéraires et revendues ici à moitié prix. Et plein de livres d'occasion. Impossible de résister à l'impression de triomphe lorsque l'on déniche enfin le truc épuisé depuis des lustres et introuvable sur toute la planète sauf au Strand! Cette librairie est réputée pour cela. Il y a également une grande section de livres en langues étrangères(autres que l'anglais et l'espagnol). Pour une librairie d'une telle surface, il y règne tout de même un bon ordre dans les rayonnages. Des objets, dont une large panoplie de sacs, portant le logo de la librairie sont offerts. Ils feront de bons souvenirs de votre escapade à New York.
