Hotel with excellent value for money, one of the best in Midtown, close to Central Park and Rockefeller Center.
In the heart of Midtown, not far from Rockefeller Center, Central Park and shops like Bloomingdales, this trendy establishment, bought from an Englishman thirty years ago, has a range of 350 customised, vaguely futuristic and freshly renovated rooms. For the first prices, the shower and toilet will be outside the room (but it's very clean). All rooms, redone with modern materials, have flat-screen TVs, clock radios where you can plug in your iPod, desks, wardrobes (but no closets), and several under-bed storage units. There are even rooms with bunk beds for the kids. At the Pod, we know how to make the most of our space! The lobby is charming. A very pleasant hotel, in a residential street, in the middle of the bustle of Midtown Manhattan. Ideal to recharge your batteries and one of the best value for money in Midtown.
