The municipality of Gamvik has several picturesque fishing villages to visit: Mehamn, Gamvik and Skjånes. The area is a popular fishing spot and restaurants serve fresh fish from the Barents Sea. After a few laces, the port of Gamvik seems cut off from the world. On one side you can see nature and on the other side the sea as far as the eye can see, a resolutely strange and pleasant feeling. One can admire in Gamvik a lighthouse converted into a quiet hotel. It is the northernmost lighthouse on land in Europe!
