It is the northernmost fishing hamlet in the world. The small row of houses nestling at the bottom of an inlet ends in a hut attached to the rock by ropes to prevent it from being swept away by the frequent storms. This detour of 3 kilometers is advisable, because it will lead you to a very pretty bay, and especially very calm. There is not much to do in Skarsvåg, but as in all the surrounding villages, nature reigns supreme. You will have to take a walk in the surroundings to appreciate the beauty of the landscape, even if you stay there. The location is ideal, close to the North Cape and away from the hustle and bustle of Honningsvåg.
