Commercial and residential, Quatre Bornes is busy and often congested. It is not very interesting except for the jewellery shop of the designer Ravior (an internationally recognized artist) and for the important market that takes place daily in the town centre, especially on Thursdays and Sundays, when this textile fair is in full swing. You can find fabrics, trinkets, clothes at interesting prices and much cheaper than in tourist towns like Port Louis and Grand Bay - but beware of counterfeiting! To eat, you can find some good restaurants at low prices
