Located under the varangue and the glass gallery of the magnificent colonial house, away from the noise and pollution of the city center, it is the most authentic, elegant and flowery setting of this part of the island. On the terrace with a view of the park, or in the house amidst the antique furniture, you can enjoy a fusion cuisine that combines French know-how with the many local flavors. It's the trendy bistro of the plateau cities: a bargain-hunter's bar made of recycled objects found in attics and flea markets, an informal New Age bar atmosphere, the friendly atmosphere of a grandmother's house where you can come and eat simple, fresh dishes: tapas, mixed salads, burgers, melting lamb, home fries, French toast... The drinks menu is displayed on the screen of an old TV, a bicycle is waiting in the entrance, plants are slumbering in crates... We grab the press and settle in.

A few years ago, this historic downtown restaurant relocated to the green, next to the Corson factory, opposite the tea plantations. Nature takes center stage even in the industrial, plant-based dining room, as well as on the menu, where vegetarian dishes feature prominently, such as green tagliatelle with spinach and caripoulé pesto. Otherwise, all the house classics are there: palm soufflé and shrimps in red sauce, crab gratin, beef dry curry, Bougrement bon and its vanilla cream... A sure bet.
