To the north of Trou d'Eau Douce begins a very beautiful beach, one of the longest on the island, which stretches for several kilometers from Palmar to Pointe de Flacq, passing through Belle Mare. At the level of this last village, it gains particularly in attraction by its shape in arc of circle, its depth, its exposure to the north-east, the saving shade provided at the back by the filaos. The place is quiet, little frequented, except on weekends for picnics and family music. Here, the coastal landscape differs from that of the rest of the island.
