Le Tibambari is a guest house located in the Creole village of Le Bouchon, on the south coast of Mauritius. Surrounded by sugarcane fields, this establishment offers an experience centered on nature and the discovery of the wilderness. Just 80 meters from the sea, guests can enjoy the tranquility of the area and the soothing sound of the waves and wind. Tibambari offers simple rooms with balconies, as well as services such as free Wi-Fi, free parking, a swimming pool and beach access. Children are welcome and an airport shuttle is available. The owners, Eric and Lisbeth, originally from Switzerland and Mauritius, have made their dream come true by opening this seaside guesthouse. Agnès, a local resident, prepares delicious traditional meals on request. Reka takes care of the housework, and the boys, Emmanuel and Loïc, are excellent guides for exploring the surrounding area. Eric is great host, breakfast with local fruits, fresh juice, jam and baguette.
Dinners are also possible (700MUR per person)
We can only recommed to try :)

Very quite place during working days, weekends are a bit more busy.

Great location for the first few days, the acomandation is very close to the airport, Eric was a great host, the room was clean and had everything we needed, the garden was beautiful and the nearby beach was very tranquil

Petit coin de paradis dans une ambiance différente des Ressorts . Très bon accueil, gîte très bien entretenu et possibilité de se préparer ses repas. En bonus, Petit déjeuner avec les fruits du jardin, un délice ????

Beautiful house in a romantic garden. The host and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the days we spent here. Lovely beach in 5 minutes by walk.
