On the outskirts of Mahébourg, this small restaurant located on the first floor of a roadside house offers the choice between a pocket handkerchief terrace and a few wooden tables in a mignonette room. It is Henry who runs the barracks, a well-known figure in local tourism. Speciality of the menu: steaks, fillets and other ribs, first quality and imported from South Africa, served with a choice of sauces and side dishes. There is also a slate Creole menu and simple and tasty homemade desserts - banana flambée, caramel custard flan, lemon cake...
