Croisières Australes, founded in 1992, specializes in catamaran excursions in Mauritius. It operates 4 catamarans around the island.
Points of embarkation are: Sunset Boulevard in Grand-Baie (North), the jetty of the Veranda Paul et Virginie hotel in Grand-Gaube (North-East), Pointe Jérôme in Mahébourg (South-East) and Le Morne Anglers Club in Rivière Noire (West).
The cruises offered by Croisières Australes are varied and rich in exceptional sites. Quality services are offered for both day excursions and sunset cruises. Out-of-the-ordinary corporate event packages are also available for corporate clients.

IN THE NORTHEAST:
Daily departure from the hotel jettyVeranda Paul et Virginie, in Grand-Gaube at 09:30 for a cruise to the mangroves of Ile d'Ambre.d'Ambre.Possibility of snorkeling with crew assistance. IN THE SOUTHEAST:
Daily departure from Pointe des Régates in Mahébourg at 09:30 for a cruise to Ile aux Cerfs.

You'll have the opportunity to discover the rich cultural heritage of these destinations (Grande Rivière Sud-Est and Ile aux Cerfs) and be enchanted by the exceptional flora and fauna of this region of the island.
Itinerary:
9:00 am: Meet our team at the Pointe des Régates jetty in the fishing village of Mahébourg.
9:30 am: Depart from Mahébourg for Trou Moutou, an incredible natural aquarium home to a variety of marine species, for a snorkeling and swimming session with the assistance of our crew.
10:15am : Sail past Ile de la Passe and Ile au Phare for a historical presentation.
Noon: Lunch will be served on board before setting sail for Ile aux Cerfs.
13h30 : We'll then sail to the Grande Rivière Sud-Est waterfall to admire the splendid scenery.
14h00 : Disembark on this iconic island and enjoy some free time to relax, recharge your batteries on its sandy beaches and explore the island's natural beauty until 3:00 pm.
16h30 : Return to the Pointe des Régates pier in Mahébourg.
SOUTH WEST - CATAMARAN CRUISE
Discover the breathtaking beauty of the west coast of Mauritius with this shared catamaran cruise, punctuated by stops at some of the most beautiful sites along the island's coastline. You'll discover secret bays, natural rock formations and pristine beaches.
Your day cruise begins with a magical encounter with playful dolphins in their natural habitat, an unforgettable adventure. Our next stop is L'Harmonie, a peaceful cove surrounded by lush greenery and turquoise waters. The catamaran will then sail to Rocher de Cristal, a famous rock formation emerging from the ocean, offering an ideal photo opportunity. The final destination is Ile aux Bénitiers, a secluded island fringed by coral reefs and golden beaches, where you can relax and admire its magnificent scenery.

9:00 am: Meet our team at the Morne Anglers Club jetty in Rivière Noire.
From 9:15 am : Set off in search of long-beaked dolphins in the direction of Tamarin Bay.
10:30 am: Stop off at L'Harmonie, in La Preneuse, for an invigorating swim in crystal-clear waters.
Noon: Lunch will be served on board before setting sail for Ile aux Bénitiers.
1:30pm: Disembark on this iconic island and enjoy some free time to relax on its sandy beaches and explore the island's natural beauty until 2:00pm.
3:30pm: Return to Morne Anglers Club in Rivière Noire.
NORTH - CATAMARAN CRUISE [full day]
Embark on an exciting catamaran cruise through the crystal-clear waters of northern Mauritius, where turquoise seas and idyllic beaches await you. Discover the natural beauty of Gabriel Island, Coin de Mire and Plate Island in a day filled with adventure and relaxation.
Set course for the northern islands, beginning with the iconic Coin de Mire. Then arrive on Gabriel Island, where crystal-clear waters invite you to swim and snorkel. Explore the island's pristine beaches and dive into its turquoise lagoon. Enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch served on board the catamaran, with freshly prepared dishes and breathtaking ocean views.
Itinerary:
9:00 am: Meet our team at Sunset Boulevard, Grand Bay, for boarding.
From 9:30 am: Departure for the northern islands.
9:30 am to 11:00 am: While sailing, observe the magnificent Straw-tailed birds flying alongside the Coin de Mire.
11:00 am to 12:30 pm: Arrival on Gabriel Island. Enjoy a refreshing swim and snorkel with the help of our experienced crew. Relax in the sun, explore the sandy beaches and swim in the turquoise lagoon.
12h30 : Enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch on board.
13h30 : Relax on the catamaran after lunch until 2:15pm.
15h30 : Return to Sunset Boulevard, Grand Bay.
NORTH - SUNSET BY CATAMARAN [2 hours 17h - 19h]
Embark on a magical 2-hour sunset catamaran cruise along the north coast of Mauritius. Experience the beauty of the lagoon as the sun sets, painting the sky in warm hues and creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Depart Grand Baie and sail towards the calm waters, heading towards the horizon to capture the magnificent sunset. As we glide along the coast, enjoy the picturesque scenery and peaceful ambience of the lagoon.
Throughout the trip, enjoy a variety of drinks, including cocktails and refreshing non-alcoholic options. Enjoy delicious snacks and canapés, adding a touch of culinary delight to your sunset experience. Around sunset time, watch in awe as the sun dips below the horizon, illuminating the sky with vibrant colors.
