You pass from Pointe aux Piments to Trou aux Biches without really realizing it. The village, which has no real center, has a few stores and mini-markets, several restaurants and the usual procession of large hotels and bungalows along the coastal road. It's the beaches that are changing. The rocks have disappeared in favor of long stretches of sand where it's pleasant to walk, run, stroll, doze in the shade or share a picnic with a group of Mauritians on holiday... Stretching over 3 kilometers, shaded by filaos, covered in fine white sand, with a perfect north-westerly exposure and hemmed in by a magnificent lagoon, Trou aux Biches beach, though narrow, is one of the most beautiful on the island! Mont Choisy beach, which closes the bay to the north, is also superb and deeper.
