In France, this would be the local truck stop: popular, established there forever, open 6 days a week, easy to get to on the side of the road (and therefore noisy), simple in terms of decor but generous on the plates. A kilometer-long menu of European, Chinese and Creole dishes... in other words, everything and nothing, which doesn't really matter when you want to eat fast, well and cheap! Plenty of fish and seafood prepared directly from the open kitchen, as well as mines, grills, pastas, pizzas, French fries and a banana flambé for dessert! Fast service.
