Just 450 meters from the entrance to the Jardin de Pamplemousses, this popular little snack bar serves as a canteen for many locals - a sure sign of a good place to eat! If you're just passing through and don't feel like taking a long lunch break, this is the place to be, as the dishes are prepared in advance and presented in a display case. All you have to do is line up at the counter to be served a plate. The food is healthy, fresh and tasty, just like real Mauritian cuisine: choice of curries, boiled mines, a variety of dumplings, etc. Recommended!
