You won't regret driving across town to try Da Paolo's pizzas, among the best in Singapore. They're all delicious, but especially the white pizzas, with Parma ham, arugula and Parmesan. The calzone are also unanimously appreciated. And if you're still hungry, the tiramisu is a treat. There are a few tables on the terrace, or you can dine in the pretty open-plan dining room inside. On the same street, another Da Paolo Group establishment, Gastronomia, is more expensive than the pizzeria, but the pasta is delicious.
