Golden Mile Centre was opened in 1975 to house the hawkers of Jalan Sultan. It is often referred to as Singapore's "Little Thailand". You can enjoy excellent Thai cuisine at unbeatable prices. There are also many Chinese and Malay food stalls. Be sure to stop by Burgs, which serves a variety of delicious mini-burgers, or Hainan Hokkien Mee, whose noodles have soaked up all the cooking broth.
