Petit Futé's opinion on L'ANGELUS
Philippe Hoyez and Gabriel de Balasy, former cabaret artists then restaurateurs in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, set up their first business in Singapore in 1998 in Club Street in Chinatown. At the time, the street wasn't as popular as it is today and the two companions had a sunken nose: the Angelus is still today a Singaporean reference for unpretentious French cuisine. Andouillette, cassoulet, boeuf bourguignon, tartare, crêpe Suzette, cassoulet... A very varied and much appreciated menu.
