This 3,103-hectare park is made up of forests and limestone formations. Its caves are home to archaeological sites, the park's main attraction. It's like the Lascaux of Malaysia. The oldest human bones dating back 40,000 years have been discovered here, and prehistoric frescoes depict the passage into the world of the dead. The park also boasts one of the world's largest cave entrances. One of the park's original features is the tasting of a medicinal decoction made from the nests of swallows perched in the caves. Tourists visiting the park between August and December and January and March have the chance to witness the harvesting of the nests using bamboo ladders that reach to the ceiling of the caves.
