Petit Futé's opinion on ÉGLISE SAINT-PIERRE
Listed as a historical monument, the church is one of the most surprising monuments of the Romanesque Auvergne. Its originality lies in the radical changes of direction that have upset its construction, so that the apse and the choir are now larger than the nave. Note the voussoirs of the south portal, decorated with flowers, as well as the modillions and capitals, some of which escape the traditional themes of Lower Auvergne churches. The nave, known as the "Ladies' Choir", now houses the treasury.
