The village of Blavozy was part of Saint-Germain-Laprade. A first petition was written by the population of Blavozy in 1851. But the war began between the two villages. In 1853, the first stone of the church was laid in Blavozy. In 1857, the parish of Blavozy appeared. This hatred will persist, there are more conflicts. One population is working, the other is rural: they are all opposed. Finally, this dispute between the Lieu and Blavozy will lead to a law that will make Blavozy an independent municipality. Henri Pastre was the first mayor of this new commune.
