Travel Guide Tanjung Piai

Ten kilometers after Kukup and 75 km from Johor Bahru, we arrive at the extreme tip of Malaysia. Tanjung Piai offers breathtaking views of Singapore, its lights and the ballet of freighters coming and going. It's also a protected mangrove area. You'll feel like you're at the end of the world, in the company of a few fishermen and a few monkeys. There are two small seafood restaurants on stilts here, including the Restoran Atan Seafood with its slogan: Southernmost of Asia is at your feet. Cheaper than Kukup, less crowded, less chic but more adventurous. You can only get there by car.
