Close to the Palmentuin, this Chinese market offers a wide selection of fruits, vegetables and meats, as well as everything you need to cook Chinese food. A tasting of the specialities is recommended, with take-away dishes to familiarize you with this discreet yet widespread community.

The Chinese community is very well represented, and another Chinese market, the more modern Soeng Ngie, can be found a little further on, at the corner of Wilhelminastraat and David Simonsstraat.

Ce marché vaut un petit "détour" (en fait il est près du centre) si l'on veut se plonger dans l'ambiance, la cuisine et les produits chinois. Il paraît très prisé par la communauté chinoise bien sûr, mais pas seulement.
