Rihiveli The Dream houses 48 bungalows with simple, comfortable and charming architecture and decoration. The island's philosophy advocates a return to nature, under the slogan "no news no shoes", so you will not see a swimming pool in Rihiveli The Dream and only a few high-tech ones. Wifi is only accessible from the reception or bar and everyone walks around barefoot. With the exception of the restaurant, you will always be standing in the sand. The whitewashed bungalows are sheltered under lush vegetation and crumble under thick palm roofs. They all overlook the sea, on the rising or setting sun side. They have a small covered terrace, a hammock and deckchairs to enjoy the view of the lagoon. The rooms have a charm rarely matched in the Maldives, with exotic woodwork, parquet flooring, a large bed stretched with white sheets and a large ceiling fan. A thermos of fresh water allows you to quench your thirst. At night, in the absence of air conditioning, simply open your door wide and pull the whiteout to enjoy the breeze from the ocean. Here, no ostentatious luxury, but a very comfortable experience that allows you to enjoy it fully and without weighing too much on the environment.
While the prices may seem relatively high for the comfort offered, all activities are free except diving and spa. Rihiveli The Dream plans many activities that punctuate the days or the week: white evening and barbecue on the beach, lunch on the island of the Rising Sun which can also be booked for a romantic dinner, daily tea with the Maldivian staff in their rest room... All these elements contribute to the island's success, as shown by a totem pole decorated with more than 800 painted wooden fish, each of them representing a visitor who has already stayed 4 times in Rihiveli The Dream. This little gem, a simple and friendly paradise, makes customers addicted and we quickly understand why once we have set foot in it.
Count US$440 for a Standard bungalow and US$528 for a Deluxe bungalow (taxes included), with full board.
