Travel Guide Olhuveli

Olhuveli is a long island of about 800 meters by 50 meters, with a beautiful beach. The northern tip of the island is man-made and houses staff accommodation and rows of bungalows facing the lagoon. This is also the location of the walkway that connects Olhuveli Island to two artificial islands currently under development. The first island is completed and includes bungalows, stilt villas, restaurants and a spa. The second island is still in the construction phase. When completed, the resort will be one of the largest in the Maldives. While the clear waters produce a magical effect, you have to walk a long way in knee-deep water to swim or get close to the coral reef and marine life. So the LMP is not incredible there. Olhuveli has one of the largest lagoons in the Maldives. Unfortunately, between the water sports, divers and swimmers, the tranquility of the place is somewhat spoiled. In the south of the island, a huge sandbank, discovered at low tide, promises unforgettable photos, especially at sunset.
