The name Kurumba was given to the hotel because of the many coconut trees on the island. The catering is correct and very varied since there are not less than 8 restaurants on the island to satisfy all the desires. The main restaurant Vihamana is open for all meals and serves a buffet formula. The other 7 restaurants offer à la carte meals open to the world. Two souvenir shops complete the picture. The clientele is international, and largely dominated by Russians, English and Germans.
