Located on Isla Colón, Bocas Town is the province's "capital". A surprising title for this multicolored city with a lively rhythm... which comes alive with the Feria del Mar in September (parades, dances...), the Bocas Showcolate Fair organized in October on the initiative of Mathilde Grand, or again in the run-up to the end-of-year festivities and Carnival. The Caribbean atmosphere is also alive in the small side streets, where you can stroll quietly amidst magnificent wooden Caribbean houses, on stilts, more or less colorful, more or less leaning. But in the end, you don't stay in the city very long - there's so much to do all around!Tourism is now the main source of income for the locals, even if the majority of establishments are run by foreigners. As soon as you arrive, we'll be sure to point out the many excursions the archipelago has to offer. All you have to do is hop aboard a lancha to find yourself on one of the countless surrounding islands; all you have to do is put on your flippers to admire a seabed considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean; and all you have to do is get on your surfboard to find yourself in some magnificent rollers..
